Effective date: 19 July 2026 · Applies to the Asterlume app for Android
Asterlume (“we”, “us”) is a calm constellation puzzle game for Android, developed by Erge Akova. This policy explains what data is processed when you use the app and what choices you have. Questions: dev.ergeakova@gmail.com.
Asterlume uses a small number of Google services. They automatically collect certain device data when you use the app.
Asterlume is free and supported by ads. To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob may collect:
Details: Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from apps that use its services.
We use anonymous usage analytics to understand how the game is played and to improve it — for example which levels are started and completed, how long puzzles take, and which settings are used. Firebase Analytics collects a random app-instance identifier and general device information. These events do not include your name or any content that identifies you personally.
If the app crashes, a crash report is sent so we can find and fix the bug. Reports include the crash stack trace, device model, operating-system version, and the device state at the time of the crash. They do not include personal information.
Used to adjust game settings (such as feature availability and ad pacing) without an app update. It uses the same app-instance identifier as Firebase Analytics and does not collect additional personal data.
Consent form (EEA, UK, and Switzerland). If you are in a region covered by the GDPR, Asterlume presents Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form the first time you open the app, before any ad is requested. The advertising SDK is not initialized and makes no ad-related network request until your consent choice is recorded — if consent is unknown or declined, no ad service starts. You can choose personalized ads, non-personalized ads, or decline, and in every case you can still play the entire game.
Changing your choice. Where a consent form is required, you can reopen it any time from Settings → Privacy inside the app (the “Ad privacy options” / “Reklam tercihleri” entry, shown only in regions where it applies) to update or withdraw your consent.
Personalized vs. non-personalized ads. Personalized ads use your device’s Android advertising ID (AAID) to tailor ads to your interests; non-personalized ads do not. To reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization at the device level, go to Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads) on your device.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone except the Google services listed in Section 3, which process it to provide advertising, analytics, and crash reporting. Google’s processing is governed by its own privacy policy.
We do not store personal data on our own servers. Data collected by Google services is retained according to Google’s retention policies — for example, Firebase Analytics data is retained for a limited period before being deleted or aggregated. Game progress stored on your device remains until you delete the app or reset progress in the app’s settings.
Asterlume is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). It is not enrolled in Google Play’s “Designed for Families” program. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, contact us at dev.ergeakova@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data. Because we do not hold personal data ourselves, most requests are best handled through your device controls:
For anything else, email dev.ergeakova@gmail.com and we will help, including forwarding requests to our service providers where applicable. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
The Google services we use may process data on servers located in countries other than yours, including the United States. Those transfers are handled by Google under its own safeguards and privacy commitments described in the Google Privacy Policy linked above.
Data transmitted by the third-party SDKs is sent over encrypted connections (TLS). Game data on your device is protected by Android’s standard app-sandbox isolation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we rely on established Google SDKs and platform protections.
If we change this policy — for example when adding new features — we will update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted in the app where appropriate.
