Effective date: 6 July 2026
Asterlume (“we”, “us”) is a constellation puzzle game for iOS. This policy explains what data is processed when you use the app and what choices you have. If anything here is unclear, contact us at dev.ergeakova@gmail.com.
Asterlume uses a small number of third-party services from Google. They automatically collect certain device data when you use the app.
Asterlume is free and supported by ads. To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob may collect:
Details: Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from apps that use its services.
We use anonymous usage analytics to understand how the game is played and to improve it — for example which levels are started and completed, how long puzzles take, and which settings are used. Firebase Analytics collects a random app-instance identifier and general device information. These events do not include your name or any content that identifies you personally.
If the app crashes, a crash report is sent so we can find and fix the bug. Reports include the crash stack trace, device model, operating system version, and the device state at the time of the crash. They do not include personal information.
Used to adjust game settings (such as feature availability) without an app update. It uses the same app-instance identifier as Firebase Analytics and does not collect additional personal data.
App Tracking Transparency (ATT). On first use, iOS asks whether Asterlume may track you across other companies’ apps and websites. This controls access to your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA):
You can change this anytime in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Ad consent (EEA, UK, and Switzerland). If you are in a region covered by the GDPR, a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) is shown before any ads load. You can choose non-personalized ads or decline consent, and you can revisit your choice later from the app’s settings where required.
Asterlume can save constellation wallpapers you create to your photo library. This permission is add-only: the app can save new images but cannot read, browse, or upload your existing photos. Wallpapers are generated on your device and never leave it.
If you enable notifications, the app schedules local reminders (for example, daily puzzle reminders) directly on your device. We do not operate a push notification server, and no data is sent anywhere to deliver these reminders. You can turn them off anytime in iOS Settings.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone except the Google services listed in Section 3, which process it to provide advertising, analytics, and crash reporting. Google’s processing is governed by its own privacy policy.
We do not store personal data on our own servers. Data collected by Google services is retained according to Google’s retention policies — for example, Firebase Analytics data is retained for a limited period before being deleted or aggregated. Game progress stored on your device remains until you delete the app or reset progress in the app’s settings.
Asterlume is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, contact us at dev.ergeakova@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data. Because we do not hold personal data ourselves, most requests are best directed through your device controls:
For anything else, email us at dev.ergeakova@gmail.com and we will help, including forwarding requests to our service providers where applicable. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
If we change this policy — for example when adding new features — we will update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted in the app where appropriate.
